She's Got a Dead Cat In Her Lap

Journal Entry: Fri Jul 4, 2008, 10:40 PM
Just kidding, he's not really dead. Just sleeping. I would post a pic, but I can't get my camera without waking the fathead :giggle:. He looks pretty darn cute though.

Anywho, this month has already started with a bang. After being gone for a week, it felt good to get back. Though it took a while to sort through the five bajillion journals and deviations and whatnot. I had 88 e-mails that's right EIGHTY-EIGHT!!!

It's only a week and a half until Avatar's EPIC RETURN!!!! YYYYAAAAAYYYYY!!!!! I decided that I wanted to take part in :icongreenifyme:'s week of Zutara. I made my first entry in that, but it's a little early. OH WELL! I had a semi-decent idea and knew I was gonna forget, so that's why my denim entry's up now :3

ALSO, the countdown has begun to COMIC CON!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in San Diego yesterday (I left for five days on a cruise out of the San Diego terminal) and I kept bugging my mother by pointing out EVERY SINGLE SDCC poster on the lightposts, and the ads on the sides of the buses. w00t!

We're going to have the most mind-blowing time. If anyone else is staying at the Holiday Inn on the Bay, tell me! We'll have an Avatar party in our room :).

I'm also trying to figure out what the hell we're going to eat -facepalm-. We (the five of us rooming together) don't particularly want to spend five thousand dollars JUST on food, so we're bringing our own. The only problem is, that there are no microwaves or refrigerators in our room.

If ANYBODY has a good idea for no bake/ no cook foods, PLEASE give me ideas!!

So, show of hands, WHO ALL IS GOING TO SDCCI?!?!?

-bounces up and down waving arms maniacally- I AM I AM I AM!!!!!

WHEEEEEE!

EDIT: I just noticed! I have more than 1000 pageviews!! I feel so loved! :happycry: I shall try to update with something or whatever :3

Yeesh, I've Been Lazy...

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 17, 2008, 2:31 AM
Well, the first week of summer has officially started. It's rather bizarre to think that I won't be going back to High School in the fall! :noes:

Well, I don't really feel like updating about Fanime, now that it's several weeks past. I'm sure you all got plenty of that from everybody ELSE that went.

I will say this, I had a blast and would love to do it again. For those of you that have not yet had your con virginity stolen, Fanime's a good one to rape you with ;)

As for what's been keeping me. Work, school, the usual BS...

Well, I saw Kung Fu Panda last week I think it was. I didn't have the highest of expectations for it, but I saw it and thought it was epically amazing! I even had to rush out and buy the OST! (two words on that front: Hans. Zimmer.) I would like to see it again, but am NOT dropping another ten bucks for that...

I graduated from HS last Friday, it was pretty surreal. My Kim Jong had a moment, whereas I kind of let it wash over me... Grad Nite was fun though.

Crap, it's already 2:30 here... MUST... MAKE.... SHORTER!!

Dammit, just when I thought it was safe to save my money again! My mom sprang a graduation present on me (not that I'm complaining, I CAN'T WAIT!) we're going on a cruise down to Cabo and Ensenada. It'll be great, but I was TRYING to save my munnyz for Comic-Con :shakefish:

Oh well, at least I got a little bit from family members...

My sympathies currently go out to Tempest-in-Blue. She lost her baby, her kitty, this week. I know EXACTLY how it feels to lose one of your babies before you're ready to let them go. :cling:

Hopefully this week will go by quickly...

Peace Out, and time for a nap...

Like You Haven't Had Enough of THESE!

Journal Entry: Sun May 11, 2008, 10:49 PM
MY reaction to Sozin's comet spoilers was about three parts anguish, and one part indifference.

I was EXTREMELY depressed that Zutara is (supposedly) not canon. Then I decided to get on with my life and continue shipping it anyways...

Yeah, I have a funny way of "getting on with my life."

Anywho, I am supporting AVidZktjo in her theories (as usual.) We shall go all ninja on Bryke's ass if Zutara doesn't happy anyways.

But, as I commented on one of GreenfyME's journals, at the end of the day, we're all getting depressed and argumentative over a television series. I am QUITE sure that I would be able to get over it.

The only thing I won't be able to stand is looking Franklin (the Kataanger that I love to argue with...) in the face... -facepalm-

Needless to say, I won't be talking Avatar with him that much.

On a lighter note, I've finally decided that I'm going to cosplay ninja Katara for SDCCI and join the NZD (Ninja Zutarians of Doom).

Now for my vague mention of things that DON'T have anything to do with Avatar, or Zutara...

I have a cold... it sucks... like a lot... And the worst part is that I've had to work for the past four days, and it continues tomorrow. Fortunately, I keep an ample supply of tissues and/or napkins in my car, so I won't be COMPLETELY miserable -_-

THANK YOU ASHLEY FOR SPREADING YOUR INFECTIOUS DISEASE!!
(sarcastic comments from you will be sneezed upon :P)

And I have another math test this week that I may or may not even be taking... That's assuming that I finish my practice test on time. Hopefully I will so I don't put it off and have my teacher all pissed again.

On another light note, IMA GOIN TO DISNEYLAND!!!!

This Thursday is grad nite (WOO!) I haven't even the faintest idea of how I'm going to survive THAT on top of a full school day. The upside is that I don't have to go to school the next day (DOUBLE WOO!)

So yeah...

Hang in there Zutarians, even if Bryke kill the canon, we can still lurve it, and squeeze it, and make beautiful fan works about it.

With hope,

Hyrulewolf ;D

Resistance Was Futile...

Journal Entry: Tue May 6, 2008, 5:58 PM
Well, I had myself convinced after the Boiling Rock leak that I wasn't going to buy the volume 3 DVD. I kept going back and forth until I got the Sunday paper.

For some bizarre reason, I've become infatuated with clipping coupons lately... So I stumbled across the Best Buy ad. Lo and behold, Avatar was advertised in the new releases category. The ONLY way I could justify it was the fact that it was only ten bucks.

So yeah, I'm half re-watching Boiling Rock... BUT ON THE BIG SCREEN!!!!!

*Extremely minor spoilers ahead*

wOOt!! Anyways, I think I shall always get goosebumps during the Firebending Masters judgment sequence... No matter how many times I see it. And of course, the awkward male bonding will never cease to amuse me.

WHY WON'T SOKKA AND ZUKO TAKE OFF THEIR SHOULDER ARMOUR?!?!

On a couple of different notes, I seem to have had a massive resurgence of Halo geekiness. I discovered that someone had compiled all of the cutscenes for all three games. Naturally, I spent a couple of hours watching them all.

Then yesterday, I spent roughly four hours on the Halopedia... It was epic fun, I must say. And of course, I got all into the secrety secrets of obscurity. I think Iris is my favourite of the secrets ^^

And another thing, IT'S ONLY A COUPLE MORE WEEKS UNTIL FANIME!!!

Yeah, I'm flying up to Northern California to see my grandma for Memorial Day weekend. We're doing something in the San Francisco area on Saturday, then she's going to her very first anime convention with me on Sunday. It's hard to believe that I lived up there for so long, and never even heard about it.

The only bad thing is, I can't spend that much munny T-T. I swear, once this school year is over, everything will be better, because I won't be spending all my cash every five seconds...

ANYWAYS!!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR FANIME!!!

Awesome, HOO DE HOO!!!

(by the way, a yaoi paddle or a seme/uke paddle is in my immediate future x3)

Think Lurvely thoughts, mine children
